The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools the largest regional accrediting agency in the United States, serving more than 1000 affiliated colleges and universities in a nineteen-state region. The Commission seeks a highly organized, energetic, process and project savvy person to fill the new position, Director of Accreditation Operations. The Director oversees, manages, evaluates, and improves a broad range of accreditation processes and services. The position requires proficiency in collaborative project and process development, documentation, and implementation. Key priorities include managing the operations of the Commission’s Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) and collaborating in the design and implementation of new accrediting processes and services. The ability to move internal teams from good to great and to foster collaboration and engagement internally and externally within a changing environment are musts. Qualifications: Master’s minimum, terminal degree preferred. Candidates must have significant experience in project and process development, implementation, and management. The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational detail and documentation skills, solid knowledge of and experience in systematic quality improvement, superior written and verbal communication skills, and evident ability to facilitate large and small discussion groups to consensus and action.
Beginning Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
